NON STRESS TEST

I had a non stress test on Monday and everything with baby looked good! she was handling life in the womb good.  Her heart rate was good also.  The nurse did a ultrasound by checking the level of amniotic fluid and it looked good as well.  Today I am starting my 24 hr. urine kit! Which is a total PAIN, and just DISGUSTING!! but I have to do it every week!!!!!! ugh…. I do go back to the dr. tomorrow for another non stress test, and growth ultrasound.  I am now 32 weeks which is great! big goal is to make it to 34 weeks and then of course till 37 when they induce me. 

FINISHED NURSERY!!

I finally finished the nursery this past week!! I think it turned out pretty darn cute!! it’s not my dream nursery of course but it’s pretty darn close.  I bought and decorated it and had Andy and my dad help hang stuff! Thanks to their help they made it look great! Of course I was right there telling them where to hang things so I’m sure they loved that!! lol  I am so glad to have it finished! one more big thing crossed off! and it seems more real! I now have 5 weeks left of this pregnancy! since I am being induced 3 weeks early.  Starting this past week I’m at the Dr’s now TWICE a week! for non stress tests and a growth scan once a week (ultrasound) With the high blood pressure they have to keep such a close eye on me and baby since preeclampsia comes on so very suddenly! I start tomorrow with a Dr. apt. with a non stress test.  I’ll sure be glad when March is over with!!!! whew……. busy busy busy!   Here are some pictures and video of the nursery.

31 WEEKS

A few days ago I had a dr. apt. I am now 31 weeks.  Well I just thought It would be a quick check up on me and baby.  My blood pressure was really high so my dr. sent me over to the hospital for a non stress test, blood and urine testing.  He said depending if the baby is under stress we’d be delivering that night!!!! It was a bit scary! Luckily she was fine, they monitored her and I for over 2 hours!!! my blood and urine tests came back normal also! so after 2 hours they released me.  I do however have to go back again tomorrow to see the dr. instead of going once a week he wants to see me TWICE a week!!!! and one of those days will always be for a non stress test and ultrasound and blood work.  In fact when I go again this coming Monday it’s for a non stress test and ultrasound.  You should see what my calendar looks like the month of March!!! OMG!!! I’ll be living at the Dr.s!! lol if you can’t find me at home that’s where I’ll be.  He also set my induction date if I make it to April.  We will have her on April 4th (3 weeks early) assuming there are no emergencies along the way that may arise and if so she’ll be delivered sooner.  I have been contracting a lot lately so that’s not fun!!   We are excited for this little baby girl but hope she stays put till at least April! 29 WEEKS

I went for a growth ultrasound today to check on how the baby is growing since high blood pressure can interfere with that.  She was perfect! everything on her measured right at 29 weeks 1 day!!! My fluid level was good and the placenta looked good too! Her weight was at 2 lbs. 15 oz.  So tiny still!!! I go back in 2 weeks and then once a week after that.  I have to have non stress tests done and more ultrasounds.  The Dr. did say that if I go to 37 weeks without developing preeclampsia or any other problems that she will be delivered at 37 weeks! so that means we will have her around April 2nd.  Crazy to think that’s just 8 weeks away!!!!!!!!!!!
