ANOTHER MOODY

To our very big SURPRISE we are expecting another Moody!!! CRAZY CRAZY! Just when I thought I had all my kids gone to school all day and after 14 years didn’t have a child always with me.  Yep we are starting all over again!!! WOW! It’s taken some time to get use to the idea.  It’s scary, and exciting at the same time. I’m not sure I remember how to have a baby after 7 years!?! lol   Since I am at high risk I have to be seen right away to make sure it’s not a tubal preg. and that it’s a viable preg. I went to the Dr. earlier this week and had an ultrasound and all looked great! the baby is where it should be and it measured right on and we got to see and hear it’s heart beat. The boys are SOOO excited! of course we are all hoping this one is a girl. However given our odds we are planning on a boy.  Here is the picture I took and put on fb to announce our pregnancy and the video I took of the boys getting the news and also the ultrasound picture.  Can’t tell much since the baby is soooo tiny right now. 

BACK TO SCHOOL

Yesterday was the first day of school! This summer went fast as it always does.  I think the boys were ready to go back even though they said they weren’t ready.  I WAS DEFINITLY ready for them to go back!! they get SO bored and expect me to entertain them!! and they are SO expensive to keep home for months on end.  It’s Alec’s last year at the Charter school! next year in the fall he will start high school at Lone Peak!!!!!! CRAZY!! and Chan just started Jr. high this year at the charter school and Drew is in 3rd grade and Jack is now in 1st grade.  He’s at school all day now and it’s SO nice!! especially not having to make 4-5 trips up to Alpine each day like last year! Only 2 trips a day! (heaven) It’s amazing how much gas I will save and how much more I will get accomplished now!! Here are some pictures from yesterday morning.

SCOUT CAMP STEINER

Andy and Chan returned today from Scout Camp.  Chan said he had such a great time!! It was nice that Andy was able to go up mid week and help out and take some cool pictures! It sure looked pretty up there! Chan earned 3 merit badges and has 2 more coming! Andy said he did great! which I am glad! I was worried about him.  Here are some of the pictures Andy took.

OFF TO SCOUT CAMP

Today Chan left for Scout Camp really early this morning.  I can’t believe he’s old enough to go now!! He was very excited to go.  He’s gone all week! 6 days.  Andy is going up on Wednesday to spend the rest of the week with them. I hope he is having a good time and is being safe! I always worry when my boys go to camp because boy scouts are always getting hurt, lost or killed! let’s hope he arrives home safely!

JUMP ON IT

For Drew’s birthday we told him he could take 2 friends to jump on it.  He was afraid the Dr. would tell him his knee wasn’t healed enough for him to go but it was and he was SO happy! He is so crazy at that place! He does so many front and back flips on the tramps. Thank gosh he didn’t open his knee back up or break anything!!!!!! They all seemed to have a great time. After jump on it we came back to the house so he could open his gifts and have cake and ice cream. I think he had a pretty good birthday!

DREW TURNS 9!!

Today this wild, crazy and cute boy turned 9. He is SO cute and helpful and is a stud! He sure likes to torment his younger brother that’s for sure. lol  I can’t believe he’s already 9 and going into third grade in a few weeks!! He’s such a smart boy! and does great in school!!! he’s very independent and loves his mustard!!!!! lol  and loves being outdoors and in water!!! The kid is fearless!! (hence just had stitches) We love you Drew Magoo and hope you have a great birthday!! Thank you for choosing us as your family.

 

SEVEN PEAKS

Since Drew got his stitches out on Thursday we decided to go to seven peaks on Friday and use some coupons I got a while back from groupon.  We hadn’t gone in 2 years and I now remember why! they were SOOO crowded!!! the boys had a great time! We took one of Drew’s best friends with us also. We were there 8 hours! from open to close! They loved it!! crazy Drew went on the highest slides he could manage to go on. Which I think was all of them. Jackson loved the smaller tube slides for kids his age.  It was great to do something fun and different as a family this summer before school goes back in a few weeks.

STITCHES OUT

I took Drew today to get his stitches taken out of his knee.  He did great! he was nervous it was going to hurt!! LOL it’s so funny because he was more nervous getting them out then he was getting them in.  We got the okay from the Dr. to be able to get his knee wet again and for him to be able to go to Jump on it for his birthday.  The other layer of stitches are inside his knee so those will dissolve. The Dr. just said I’ll see you back on Saturday when he breaks his wrist at jump on it!!! LOL   OMG I thought! don’t jinx us!! LOL He even got to keep his stitches as a souvenir! I don’t think Drew really wanted to keep them but I talked him into it. His knee is healing great and looks great!!!
