STITCHES

Today I put up the kids pool in our front yard for the boys to swim along with their friends our neighbors.  Well they got to playing to rough (like boys always do) and our neighbor pushed Drew and Drew fell into our lava rocks in our flower bed.  He cut his knee open pretty bad! We took him to the Dr. and Dr. Whiting fixed it right up! he had to have 2 layers of stitches! 9 stitches in all!! first layer they will dissolve and second layer he goes back in a week to get them out. He can’t get that knee wet at all which for Drew is going to be very CHALLENGING!!! lol  He was SOOOO good and brave getting the stitches! He didn’t cry or throw a fit at all when getting 5 injections of novacane to numb up his knee.  He was actually laughing! He tends to laugh when he’s nervous.  He amazed the nurse! she was expecting to bring a lot more nurses in to hold him down but she was just floored!! If this had to happen thank gosh it was Drew!! all the other 3 boys would have freaked out!!!! Drew is the only child that has had stitches twice now and is our fearless and most brave child!!! He was such a trooper we had to go get some yummy treats after.  Luckily he gets the stitches out 2 days before his birthday where he wants to go to Jump on it!!! I’m thinking he got 9 stitches since he’s going to be 9!!

PRIMARY TALK

This past Sunday Jackson gave his first talk in Jr. Primary.  His talk was about "Families are part of Heavenly Father's plan." He did such a good job!!! It was so cute watching him. Andy did his talk for him and did such a great job! especially with the visual effects!  

17 Years!!!

This past Saturday was mine and Andy’s 17 year Anniversary!!!!!!!!! where does the time go??? doesn’t seem like it’s been that long at all!!! seems just like yesterday it was our 7th! Just means that everyone is getting older and it makes me sad. In 17 years we have built 3 homes in 3 different cities and have had 4 very cute loud loveable boys!!

CHAN TURNS 12!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Just 2 days after Andy’s birthday Chandler has his.  He turned 12 on the 10th! I can’t believe he’s already 12 and he’ll be a teenager next summer!!!!! OMG!! where does the time go?? He celebrated his birthday by going to jump on it with 2 of his best friends for the day and then that night we went to dinner with my parents. He got a new bike that he’d been wanting for a while along with a few other little things from friends and family.

ANDY TURNED 40!!

On July 8th Andy turned 40!!! crazy that I’ve known him almost his whole life!! Here’s a cute picture of us back 14 years ago!!! when we were both much younger!! I can’t believe how stupid my hair looked back then! the color OMG!! what was I thinking??!! lol

4TH OF JULY

For 4th of July we decided to go up to Park City.  We hadn’t been up there in years!!! We went up that afternoon and went to Park City park and listened to a local band and ate some yummy hamburgers some people were bbqing. Then that night we watched fireworks in the parking lot of Park City Mountain Resort.  We never had been that close to areal fireworks before!! They were SO loud and awesome!! The boys loved it!!!
