SCHEELS

One weekend we finally checked out Scheels in Draper.  It’s been open for almost a year and we just never went to check out the place.  It’s a HUGE!!  220,000 square-foot sporting goods store but they also have a lot of athletic clothes and a big shoe section and a huge Farris wheel in the middle of the store.  They have HUGE fish tanks and a big area for kids to play at also. They just have way to much!! lol  The boys love the place! it’s got a TON of Utah Utes stuff so that’s a plus right there for us! It is pretty cool and definitely everyone should check it out if you are here in Utah or have one in your area.

ALEC RETURNED!!

Alec returned from high adventure in one piece! Thank gosh! He said he had a great time! He loved the river rafting the best. He came back however smelling SO bad!! a smell I’ve never smelt before!! LOL he hadn’t showered in 3 days!! I guess they had no hot water for the showers.  He also only changed his cloths once!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! GROSS!!! I guess that is guys for you according to my husband. I was SO grossed out!! When Andy picked him up Alec was in NO mood for pictures, so this was the only shot Andy could get of him.  Oh well…. I’m glad he was kept safe and had a good time! It was great to have him back.  Now in August Chan goes to scout camp for the first time!!! That’ll be interesting!!!

HEADING TO HIGH ADVENTURE

Alec left yesterday late afternoon to go to High Adventure with his boy scout troop. The last to years he went to scout camp and now that he’s 14 he attends high adventure which is a ton more fun apparently. He’ll be gone for 4 days. Of course I’ll miss him! I hope he has a great time and returns home safely!!
